Simon Schubert is the name of the artist.
I was asked by the Galerie van der Grinten in Cologne-Germany to work with this awesome guy for the first time in 2012. The idea was to connect a dinner into his world to invite friends and art collectors for a very special and unique trip. This one took place in the Villa Zanders in the middle of Simon’s exhibition. I didn’t want to make only a simple and nice dinner, I wanted to translate his work into dishes to make people feel it from inside. Through and with him I wanted to recreate his work thanks to the power of food. The museum and the exhibition were brought to live for a single and unique night.
